Strange, Beggers in Muzaffarpur opened their own Bank and deposited money they earned from begging

Beggars of Muzaffarpur in Bihar have opened a unique 'bank'. In this bank beggars deposit the money they got in begging. These beggars get interest on the deposited amount, and if need be, loans are also given to these beggars. Apart from the beggars, there are people who are financially weak in this bank. In which people who run handcarts and rickshaws are included. 175 beggars have formed five separate self-help groups. These five different groups sit at a fixed place every Sunday and plan ahead.

Local woman Lalita Devi told that due to lack of money she was not able to get her daughter married, but due to the beggars' bank, she was able to get her daughter married, in fact the beggar's bank gave Lalita Devi 20 thousand rupees. Gave loan of

Vibha Devi, secretary of the Tulsi group, says that we have a group of 10 people, and this group is being operated for more than a year. Today the group has about 20 thousand rupees, and if necessary, interest is charged at the rate of one hundred rupees.
Area coordinator Nipendra Kumar explains that the information of this bank is now with the government and now the government will also help this bank. In this regard, special loans and the process of opening group accounts in public sector banks have been initiated. Under the Mukhyamantri Bhikshavritti Yojana, financial loans are given to mentally health beggars, so that they can find employment opportunities without begging.
